Rob, the tenor of Fusion
(he sings the high, girlie sounding part) comes from a varied background.
An accomplished pianist, Rob comes from a very musical family, with his
mother being a music treacher and his brother holding a degree in Performance
Jazz in Percussion.
Rob started singing Barbershop with the Manawatunes, a chorus based in
Palmerston North, while he was studying for his Bachelor of Engineering
(Hons) there. He then moved to Wellington, where he joined the Harbour
Capital Chorus, and also sang Baritone in Raven, a local Wellington quartet.
Rob is an avid Jazz lover, and regularly attends Jazz Festivals around
the country. He also has a passion for climbing mountains (?) and when
not singing will more than likely be us a hill somewhere.
Rob is bi-sectional, singing Tenor in Fusion,
and Baritone in the Harbour Capital Chorus. |
